With your permission, the app reads the fields it needs and stores them locally for the app and its widgets. In the current implementation, address-book content is not sent to Firebase; technical analytics, diagnostics, configuration and messaging are explained in the Privacy Policy. No account is required.

Do I have to allow contact access?
No. Name-day and public-holiday calendars work without contacts. Access is needed only for a personalised view of your friends' and family's name-days and birthdays.
Which calendars are included?
You can combine name-day sources for 17 countries, public holidays and six pet-name calendars in one app.
Do reminders work when the app is closed?
Yes. Once notifications are allowed, your iPhone delivers them at the time you choose. Widgets can also show today's names directly on screen.
Is there a subscription?
No. Name Day is a one-time App Store purchase with no recurring subscription.
